Donnybrook Cottages - Hutt River

Comfortable and well appointed Positive: Really well appointed cottage. The little touches like lots of shelves, hooks and hangers made it easy to unpack and feel at home. Usually I don't care much for free provisions but the wine was really nice.

Such a lovely, comfortable cottage. Positive: Very comfortable, clean and well equipped in every way. A perfect spot for an exploration of the Clare area.

The cottage was lovely and very spacious. There was a problem with the wifi but, when I contacted the owner it was fixed

Positive: Thank you Luke for a wonderful stay. The location was perfect on the edge of town but quiet in a forest setting, beside the Riesling bike trail. The breakfast supplies were generous- there was more than enough milk, juice and cereal for three of us. The coffee machine with pods was a bonus as was the hot cocolate sachets and bottle of local wine. Being winter, the weather was cold and often rainy, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage that was so cosy and welcoming. The cottage was exceptionally clean and warm, the decor was simple and comfortable, and included lamps and throw rugs which was a lovely surprise. The beds were comfortable and there had been a lot of careful thought gone into the cottage to provide everything necessary. Luke is an excellent host and communicated clearly with us at all times. We were sad to leave and would love to come back. Also a thank you to Kent from Riesling Bike Hire down the road who rented us bikes even though he was closed for the day and to the Uppside Restaurant for beautiful food and making us feel so welcome. Enjoyable stay. Positive: Pretty cottage, with comfy bed and nice linens. Electric blankets side lamps. Kitchen well equipped with breakfast supplies. Full size fridge. Quiet position near rail trail. Negative: Nothing.
